Therefore, solving the load problem used in the operation of the motor becomes the main part of the motor test system. The top priority.
At present, the load used in the traditional motor test platform has the following forms: one is to use a DC generator and power resistance to simulate the load to consume energy; the other is to use a synchronous motor, a DC generator and a grid-connected device as the load, and the energy Return to the grid; third, use a dynamometer as the load, which is also a more mainstream practice.
Although the above several load forms can well complete the load task as a motor performance test, they all have problems and shortcomings of one kind or another.
The most important thing is the energy problem. For the first and third methods, the energy is completely consumed by the power resistor or the motor. For the system that needs to be used for motor testing for a long time, the energy saving and economical efficiency are not high, and the second method The method feeds energy back to the grid, which has harmonic pollution to the grid and low power factor.
Secondly, the above methods have the disadvantages of huge system, complicated control and low efficiency. In order to overcome the above shortcomings and problems, a motor-to-drag platform test system is proposed. Its characteristic is to make the two motors mechanically and electrically coupled with each other, and the two motors are each other's load, thus solving the problems of energy consumption and system complexity.
